<p>Marcelo has revealed that he could hardly sleep a wink after Real Madrid were mauled by Barcelona at the Bernabeu.</p><p>The defending champions were humbled 6-2 on their home turf and the loss ended any hope of Real retaining their Primera Liga title this season.  </p><p>Marcelo told Radio Marca that it was the &quot;worst night of the year&quot; and stated that he &quot;could not sleep until four in the morning&quot;.</p>  <p>The Brazilian also spoke of his situation at the Bernabeu.</p>  <p>&quot;When I was whistled in the Bernabeu I gave an interview saying that more work would change that. I said that it didn't matter what was said, it was not going to change me, in fact, the opposite, it was good for me to realise I needed to improve,&quot; he mused. &quot;Iker [Casillas] told me that it was normal, that they had whistled [Zinedine] Zidane and Ronaldo...I am Marcelo, and I am starting now.&quot;</p>  <p>The utility man also spoke about Juande Ramos' usage of him in different positions during games.</p>  <p>&quot;I am a winger, but right now I am helping out on the inside and I always want to help. I help where I can, but I am a left-winger,&quot; he explained.</p>  <p>&quot;The coach asked me if I could play more advanced, like [Arjen] Robben, but also helping out at the back.&quot;</p>
